Guanche mummies of Necochea

Guanche mummies of Necochea is two Guanche mummies (ancient inhabitants of the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain). Currently on display at the Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
They are so called because they were exposed to 2003, the Museo Civil de Ciencias Naturales of Necochea, Province of Buenos Aires (Argentina).〔(Envían dos momias de Necochea a Canarias )〕

They were part of the collection of a private museum in Tacoronte. In the nineteenth century it was sold to the La Plata Museum in Argentina, reaching the hands of an unidentified collector.
